Sober Spring

Happy first day of Sober Spring!

I am SO excited for this new adventure.

I’ll admit that I’ve found it quite difficult sticking with sobriety after Dry January. Having an initiative to fall back on and a sense of inclusion in a wider movement is definitely a huge help!

For those of you who don’t know, Sober Spring is a 93-day commitment masterminded by Catherine Gray the wonderful author of The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober (read my review of her book here). While Gray believes that Dry January is very useful, she strong believes that 3 months is necessary to be really feel the full benefits of sobriety.

I’ve never successfully done three months sober so I’m hoping that this will give me the kick up the arse I need.

P.S Right now is a very uncertain and somewhat scary time. I hope that all of you are staying safe, strong & happy. Be kind & share the support. 😊
